Wednesday Excursion to the Marina

Hello Everyone,

I hope this Thursday is treating you well. So far, I’ve done absolutely nothing productive, so I plan to make this post my first act of productivity for the day. (Though, does watching Leverage on Netflix count?)

Yesterday, I went to the San Leandro Marina with my sister and a friend, to walk the little terror of the apartment. (A. K. A. Miko.) While there, I managed to take a few pictures with my camera before discovering that the battery was about to die, so some come from my phone itself. Either way, enjoy and have a great day!

Elisse’s February Photo Challenge

Well, now that February is over I can admit that I’m glad I participated in Elisse’s photo challenge. Even though I wasn’t able to complete it (only needed four more, but ran out of time), I am still proud of myself for having kept to it for so long. I honestly didn’t think I would get so close to the finish line, sorta speak. Not just that, I honestly feel like I took some pretty neat shots, and one of which has even become my March blog banner. What do you guys think?

Well, onward to the next challenge! (Because, let’s face it, there’s always another challenge when it comes to blogging.)

Snailmail is Still in Fashion

Good Morning Everyone! Check out what hit my mailbox this morning! I ordered these no more than three days ago and I’m shocked (pleasantly so) at how quickly they arrived! I originally read about this mobile service from Elisse’s blog(yep, they’re on the App store for both Android and iPhone), and, after receiving a promotional code from them, I decided to give them a try. Here are the results of said try:

I’m really excited to get a few more pictures done! Though they are printed on standard glossy photo paper, the quality of each print is really nice. The only one that had a slight issue was the Instagram photo of my group of friends back home, it came out a bit blurry (because it was taken with my phone camera and had undergone some Instagram manipulation), so I do suggest printing pics that are clear, unaltered with filters…

Or in this case, a collage of some of the things I love. I wasn’t able to take a hole lot of pictures, and so I scavenged through the ones I already had to make this collage.
Things I love: dusk after the rain, the written word (journals), morning tea, Starbucks, dragons, literature, mail, sunsets, and San Francisco.
