4. finish a complete draft of a novel

5. write at least three poems

6. write a few short stories and try my hand at flash fiction

7. finish at least two notebooks

8. catch up on my pen-pal letters

9. catch up on my sleep

10. find a new job

11. hang out with friends (revive my dried out social life . . . there’s an image for ya)

12. go to the fair and eat funnel cake

13. spend as much time as possible with my family (yes, this should have been closer up in the list)

Note: the list is longer, but these are the first things to come to mind. Stay tuned for part two and my progress. 🙂

D.I.Y. Project Continued

Hello Again!
Here are a few more keychains that I recently finished. (As of this morning, actually.) The left one with the woman’s face is my favorite. It’s simple, but the woman just jumps out at you , doesn’t she? I engraved the back (sorry, no picture) with the word “Beauty.” The pink one on the right is also really pretty, though a bit brighter than I had originally planned. Behind each you can also see a couple of the cute pink baggies I bought at a DAISO earlier tonight. The pack came with pink, blue and green ones. Well, have a good night!

Phone Picture Post: Crafts, Campus, Murals & Sunsets

Once again, here are five pictures from my phone. Enjoy!

Two more keychains made in the last few days. Sadly the one with the Fleur-de-lis bubbled over night. I can’t get them out without ruining the entire thing, which sucks because the bubbles are going to bother me. The one with the crystals came out real neat though!

A shot of the side of the Arts & Education building on campus. Had a midterm yesterday and decided to enjoy the cool and sunny (a bit too sunny) weather before facing the music.

A shot of the theater building, and the the right is the outside stage (which you can’t see).

Once of Hayward’s many murals. This one is one of the ones painted on the side of the Downtown Century Theater parking structure. (Artist: Andrew Kong Knight)

And lastly, a shot of the sunset because, let’s face it, sunsets are beautiful.

Have a good day everyone!
