  1. Not too shabby for a point and shoot. I’m a firm believer in the idea that a good photographer can take great photos with any sort of equipment. Anybody can make great pictures with a $5000 medium-format camera and a $2000 lens, but it takes talent to do the same thing with a $10 disposable, or a $150 pocket camera.

    1. I agree with you, and all my photos are from my point and shoot cameras, I don’t have a DSLR though I would love one. I’ve been thinking of getting one of the hybrids (the one’s in between DSLR and common day digital), but first I need to save up. One of my favorite projects to do is buy a simple one time use camera and take pictures with it, this really tests the photographers skills because she/he is deprived of all the nifty functions digital cameras have. My friend and I did this last year, but we learned that its best to buy the nicer Kodak ones than the Fujifilm because Fuji comes out too grainy, there were only two I liked from the whole set. I may do this again this summer, as well as finally bust out my Minolta.
